Hi, my name is Max Strangberg. I am 10 years old and I love dancing. I have been dancing for 5 years. This is my first time going to the All-Irelands and I am so excited! My favorite thing about dancing is meeting new people and competing with them. I have been with Trinity in the Third Ward my whole dancing career. I've danced at the Oireachtas twice and had so much fun both times. I try to improve my dancing every day by practicing my steps. I can't wait for All-Irelands to get here!
Hi, my name is Julia Watychowicz and I'm a 6th grader in Mount Prospect, Illinois. I started Irish dance at Trinity in Palatine when I was four, and it's been a big part of my life ever since. From traveling abroad to performing onstage to making lifelong friends, there are many side-benefits from dance! To prepare for a major, our classes get more intense, we work on stretches to be as flexible as possible, and we feis in advance to test our steps. I am proud to represent Trinity and the United States this year at the All-Ireland Championships and look forward to another memory-filled trip. When I am not dancing, I also enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, shopping, perfecting my makeup game, hanging out with friends, and watching Netflix. Go Trinity!
Hello!! I am Nieve Howard and I am 12 years old. I dance in Madison and Milwaukee. I have been dancing since I was four years old. I really like to dance the slip jig and horn pipe. In my free time I like to go to my friends' house or dance! I also like to do triathlons. I am most excited to just do my best and see my hard work pay off. Last year at Oireachtas I placed 10th in my age group out of an amazing group of girls and I qualified for Worlds in Dublin! I am so excited to go to All Irelands, dance my best, and spend time with awesome friends and teachers!!
Gabby will be competing in her third All Irelands. She is excited to have the opportunity and to cheer on the other dancers. Gabby started dancing with Trinity at the age of four.
Caleb Fredrick started dancing with Trinity as a 4 year old following in the footsteps of his older sisters. Outside of Trinity, Luci is a cheerleader and manager of her school volleyball team. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, reading, and hanging out with her friends.

My name is Kylie O'Brien. I am 14 years old and in 8th grade at LaSalle II Magnet School in Chicago. I began my Irish dancing journey with Trinity when I was 6 years old at the IHAC. I have competed 6 times at Oireachtas, 4 National Championships, 1 All Irelands, and 4 World Championships (with one World Championship title in 2017 -U12 Choreography). Irish dance has always been a passion of mine. It has given me so many opportunities to travel to the most beautiful places and has helped me make many friends from across the globe. I am honored to be a part of the Trinity Team and I am looking forward to going back to Killarney to compete. Wish us luck!!!!
My name is Reilly Sedlacek and I am 15 years old. I have been dancing with Trinity for over 10 years. I love being a part of Trinity because of all the opportunities, friends, fun, and confidence it gives me! I always love having to push myself and work towards my goals! What I am most excited about for All Irelands is to showcase all my hard work and to smile on the big stage! What I am doing to prepare myself for All-Irelands is stretching and working out every morning before school with Luci Stocco, practicing hard in and out of class, breaking down my steps, getting plenty of rest, picturing myself on the big stage in my head and making a vision board! My favorite thing about Irish dance is being able to see the smiles on people’s faces after I perform! I am super excited to conquer the All-Irelands stage and to be able to look back and enjoy the journey I have worked so hard for! Thank you to all my Trinity teachers, parents, and friends for supporting me!
My name is Haley Gross and I started dancing when I was 8 years old. I took an Irish Dance summer school class offered through my local school and absolutely loved it! This led me to Trinity where I have been able to pursue my passion through solo competition, teams and performance. Not only do I get to do what I love, but also through Trinity I have made wonderful friendships, learned life skills, and been exposed to amazing experiences. Dance is a journey, not a destination and it’s been fabulous!
Ryan Peter is 16 years old and is a sophomore at Waukesha Engineering Preparatory Academy. He started Irish dance when he was 6 years old, following in his older sister’s footsteps. Ryan has danced in the World Championships five times and in the All Scotland Championships twice, but this will be his first time competing in the All Irelands. In addition to competing, Ryan enjoys performing, and traveled to Portugal as an Ensemble dancer last summer. He is also a member of the Men of Trinity, and his favorite part of Irish dance is hanging out with all the good friends he has made through dance.
Gracie is a 16-year-old high school junior. Dancing with Trinity since the age of 4, she is excited to be attending her second All Ireland’s competition! Her dance accomplishments include multiple trips to the North American Irish Dance Championships (Nationals), Ireland’s Northwest Irish Dance Championships in Derry, Northern Ireland, and numerous trips to the World Championships, and the All-Scotland Championships.
She is a member of her schools’ chapter of the National Honor Society, and if you look closely at one of their upcoming performances, you can find her as the newest member of the Trinity Irish Dance Company.
When not Irish Dancing, you can find Gracie playing Varsity tennis. Last year she was awarded the “Varsity Mental Toughness” award. She says she tries to bring that “mental toughness” to every competition so that she can focus, but yet still have fun on stage!
