Congratulations to all involved on a wonderful weekend at Milwaukee Irish Fest! The crowds were packed for the Trinity Irish Dancers at both mainstage performances on Saturday and Sunday. We guest appeared with fan favorite band, Gaelic Storm for 3 performances along with an iconic collaboration organized by We Banjo 3, including a band show appearance with dancers from every Irish dance school in the Milwaukee area! It was heart-warming to witness the magic of seeing dancers from all different schools come together on and off stage to celebrate what we all love - Irish dance!
Trinity has been performing at Milwaukee Irish Fest for more than 3 decades! The hard work amongst the dancers and teaching staff is what has allowed Trinity to continue to be a festival favorite throughout the years, and 2019 was no exception! The united energy and passion behind the performances this weekend was evident to all in the audience. The Trinity Family is very proud!
A special “thank you” goes out to Anne Blume and Michelle McNamara for their tireless efforts in making this weekend as successful as it was! To Alexa Peter, MacKenzie Klisemet, and Olivia Bouchard for teaching the TPT Irish Fest classes and preparing the dancers for the stage! To our Irish Fest Chairs, Lori Strangberg, Michelle Kniep and Sharon McKinley, in addition to Cindi Graves for coordinating all of the volunteers and details to make it a seamless weekend! To Mark Alberg, for securing Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital as our event sponsor, and Dan Richards to coordinating the festivities at Humboldt Park! To Anne Leonard, Booster Club Manager, for her hard work in support of Academy events just like this one! To Laura Donaldson, Managing Director, for her spirit and leading the Trinity Academy to new heights! And lastly, to our Founder, Mark Howard, for creating a place where children can thrive and live out their dreams. The Trinity Family would not be what it is without him and these individuals. This weekend is dedicated to Mark in honor of going into his 40th year as a dance educator!
We are excited to ride this positive momentum into the new season, starting on Tuesday, September 3rd! Looking forward to seeing everyone back in classes so we can have another incredible year!
